STRUCTURE FUNCTION EVOLUTION

Jacob Suissa

About Me

I am a botanists interested in plant structure, function, and evolution. Broadly, I explore how diverse phenotypic traits have evolved across major plant lineages and how these traits function in a whole-plant context. I work on and integrate topics ranging from morphology, anatomy, and physiology, to character evolution, biogeography, and diversification.

In addition to my research, I am also an avid nature photographer and science communicator.
